How much oil would you guys expect a Bug STi to use? I ask as I'm coming from RX8 ownership where you have to be on the ball checking the oil, it uses about 1ltr every 1000-1500 miles.

Some advice would be appreciated

 

My Blob STi uses Zero oil.

I'm getting a new engine soon, and expect that to use a bit due to the forged pistons.

MY01 WRX - had it for over 3 years, didn't use a drop!
MY05 STi Type UK - had is for almost 2 years, didn't use a drop!
MY07 RB320 - had it for over 3 years, still doesn't use a drop!

I always follow the Subaru service schedule, 10k miles or 12 months
I also have an oil & filter change in-between, every 5k miles, well normally 6 months

 

My Bug sti use nothing
