forged pistons
Hello all, just a quick question for you all, if you were needing pistons like I do for my ej257, what brand would you go for? I have a aunty in the usa who is visiting over xmas who can bring them for me. Brands are cp, wiseco, mahle, je, arias. Any experiences at all? Cheers guys :-)

I have used Wisecos for years in other applications and always been good. Im using wisecos in my new 2.5 build and have no worries about using them.
If i were in your position i would be buying JE, theyre some of the finest pistons out there. As for pistons being quiet, largely that is down to the builder and clearances used.
Personally all the forged pistons you have listed are going to do the job just fine, its is extremely rare for a piston to fail due to a defect.
I would make my choice based on your required CR, availability and piston bowl shape.
