You only need to change to an induction kit when your looking for 400bhp give or take and that is so that you can fit a FMIC. So an uprated panel filter will be fine.

its not worth putting a short ram one in as it just sucks hot air from the engine bay in, but there is a benefit of fitting a induction kit in the wing, referred to as a CAIK, cold air induction kit.

Just fit a good air filter, STI (though quite expensive and a service item), cosworth (also a service item), K&N, Green etc (both reusable).

Not worth it it unless going for 400bhp mate. 350 and just above will do just fine.

Best ones I personally think worked well.

That looks a trick bit of kit

Not sure about the size of that cone filter, looks abit small or does it need to be to fit the inner arch

Ive an sti five an think they were originally designed to fit that.

The filter isn't as small as it looks, it's a good bit of kit, Andy-F even commented on how good the airflow was while mapping my car.
