Default something wrong

i have an avcr setting A was 0.8 B was 1.15 all was ok till fuel pump went, replaced it and now i can't boost over 0.78 without the car hitting what is like a boost cut, only happens on high rpm over 4500k, and the rev couunter will drop as if engine has been turned off, if i squezze the pedal really slow it will boost better but still have slight hesitation, all this has only happened since fuel pump change,

thanks guys mark

Why would he need the map changed for a new pump, its the regulator that controls the pressure.

What kind of pump did you fit, and more importantly where did you get it. Not fleabay..

as the car is a '96 wrx it had the larger pump on it, it now has the smaller later style pump, would this be the cause, i doubt it as it will still pump at the 3bar pressure not sure of the flow rate it is
