Default overboost after fitting new MAF

Hi all, only had my MY2000 turbo for three months and its the best car ive ever owned!
However i had a MAF problem which i replaced last week and did a ECU restet but now it boosts to 18psi then drops to 15psi and holds at that.
If im in 5th it fluctuates between 13 and 17psi.
Also when is cold it hesitates quite bad off boost, then when it warms up it trys to cut out on idle?
Any ideas as its driving me crazy!

have you rechecked for any fault codes since the reset?

I put it on the diagnostic machine after the reset and it said MAF again, so i took the plug off bent the terminals inside and put it back on. It deleted the code and hasnt come back on!

Then i found the intake pipe from airbox to turbo was split, replaced that saturday with a silicone one.

But i still have a slight hesitating off boost when the engine is cold!

I have cleaned the solenoid out, is there anything else that could give me the hesitating?

Check your HT leads and coil pack, if they are all fine, then buy her a nice set of plugs for christmas. NGK PFR6B for a standard motor or NGK PFR7B if you are running a little more power/boost. Gap them to 0.65mm.

That can only help matters.

There are a few suspects but unless you have a fault code to go with, which you don't, then it's a process of illimination.

Its running with NGK Iridium plugs in at the moment (cant remember the part number!)

I'll try and look at the coli pack and leads tomorrow!

Thanks
