Default Mahle oem replacement oil filter comparision answers needed pls???

Hi I have recently purchased some mahle oil filters for my MY06 sti. I purchaced these from opie oils website where i entered my vehicle details etc and this filter came up its a Mahle OC195 micro star and on the box it says its suitable for like for like subaru filters 15208AA020 and 15208AA021.....anybody know these part numbers? my subaru filter that has come off vehicle is a 15208AA12A.
Please look at the differences between the filters especially the fact that the Mahle filter has less oil flow holes. This is my main worry, that is that the oil wont be able to pass through 8 holes as fast as it would 10 holes on the subaru's. this is just a guess as i really dont know! Hope someone can put me right on this one as help would be appriciated. I really dont want to screw my car up.. pics are below

Cheers for looking ?????????

I think for the difference in price and peace of mind, the only replacement is the Subaru OE item.

No, i very much doubt it is the 'wrong' part. It is just not an OE part. Simples.

The only question is, how long can your paranoia thresh hold take it.

All the filters we sell meet the OEM specs for the cars, so even if there are less holes, the flow rate should be the same or higher, probably due to a filter medium that causes less resistance to flow. Don't let that make you think that it doesn't filter the oil properly, it meets the OEM spec.

You did indeed, we're on Dave a bit at the moment, I think every other week, but not as often as other things, so hopefully the adverts won't annoy everyone.

Cool.

Don't know if it was annoying or not, only caught the back end of it.

Compared to some of the ones they repeat over and over on Dave, it's quite discreet

Aw what, some of them are ridiculous, at times to the point of bemusement.

sponsoring motoring on dave - it's rediculus, 90% of whats on dave is motoring, it's like sponsoring cheese on pizza...
