Keep the std one on - no performance gain to be had by fitting this, only gains are a noise and your car running a little rich due to the metered air being vented to atmosphere instead of back in the inlet for the compressor.

And the running rich can cause bore-wash with the resultant wear............

Good man.

I did a test not so long ago. Testing three bov's/vta's and x2 types of recircs.

The OEM one works very very well. The Forge recirc works better for higher boost and the bov/vta's well. The car felt jerky and confused if to go or not to go and couldn't hold the boost or was letting off and making the car feel jerky .

I have now gone dv delete and don't regret it.

Some cars will run with DV with high boost etc. It's horses for courses but on a pretty much standard car with mapping for it has been stated abouve your fueling will be all over the place.

If you do really want the sound - dont buy a cheapy - those of us that do like the chav horns (as they seem to be now named) will go for something like forge but as the others have said there can be problems that may end up not being very nice.

You cant judge price to much when buying a bov, as i am pretty sure that the forge and the baileys bov's are pretty much damn near the same price, but the forge is better made and tends to have less issues than the baileys.

also the as far as price goes if you are gonna buy one as above these two makes are relatively cheap in comparion to say blitz/hks and some of high end turbosmart ones that will cost an additional £150 over the forge

I didnt really post well then did I - Doh - FORGE make all their kit extremely well! -its not all in the price but in the tried and tested engineering! have tried quite a few even the really pricey stuff but I have ti say FORGE come up trumps in most cases - just my opinion!
