hi i have a 1993 wrx import classic
just fitted a facelift bonnet now the under tray of the scoop don't line up properly
my intercooler is on a slight angle but the new bonnet has a straight under tray
do i change the intercooler ,,if so which do i use
the car i got the bonnet off had a dump valve on the intercooler but that would be in the way on my engine
thanks for any help ,,,

You need to swap the undertrays over. Or buy a early undertray to fit.
edit: If you want to do the I/C upgrade (which is a nice mod) then this thread will be of interest. If you do a search, you will find plenty of people that have already done this with some good results.

I faclifted my car and have the STi6 cooler to go on. As yet Ive still not done it but... I fitted a bolt on air splitter and from my intake temp sensor that I fitted - it has worked really well - temp down by 4-5 degrees. also fitted some high temp heat reflectant sticky nasa stuff around the underside edges of the slanty cooler and inside the turbo heatshield - seems to be working. next summer will be the test when it warms up though.
