Default Fuel

Evening All,

Bought my 07 STI Hawkeye on Monday, and loving every minute so far.

My question, what fuel is it meant to be run on/safe to run on??

Will running it on less than 99 harm the car?

Thanks all

running it without 99 wont harm it, but you get alittle more from your motor with it.
If you plum for a remap, make sure you run it on 99, as i forgot, got caught short, the car was remapped and i was running 7 bhp less on lower ron.
Be weary though, once mapped to 99, only run it on 99, as it will be sick on anything lower.
Aparently, 100 ron will be avalible soon....

Yeh I've read that also, just thought I'd get a thread up for some opinions.

Wonder what it is about BP Ultimate that is bad?

And yes, it's a PPP STI Type UK.

Cheers

That's what I'm thinking, currently running it on Tesco 99, but will be on the lookout for Vpower.

Cheers for the input so far!
