Default Feeding swirl pot with std pump

I recently bought a track modded newage off ebay and although the car is pretty well sorted I'm still getting fuel surge which means I have to keep my tank more than 2/3 full.
The cars running an upgraded in tank pump and a hyperflow anti surge kit but I need something better.
My plan is to remove the upgraded intank pump and fit a std which will feed (possibly with a restrictor so the pump can operate as its designed to) a custom made swirl pot which i can fit my upgraded pump directly in to.
Doing it this way I reckon will stop the need for a remap because a new pump could be a slightly different pressure. It will also keep the cost to a minimum due to the fact I'll only have to buy a std pump which there should be plenty of about.
Can anyone see any problems with this set-up and does anyone know how easy the std fuel lines are to work with and is there anyone that sells fittings to join them etc?
Cheers Martin

Just add the pump and swirl pot !

Your fuel pressure regulator is in charge of fueling, NOT the pump.

Just plumb it all in and job's a good 'un.
