Default Blobeye sti info. Needed please..

I've sold a bug wrx after having it for 2years to get something which has the potential to be very very quick and so I'm looking to buy a blob sti. I would love an import but think Im going to have to settle for a uk version. I understand there are differences between the earlier and later blobs, what are these differences? Many thanks in advance for all replies.

There was a lot of improvements on MY05 onwards, both mechanical and cosmetic, spec c suspension geometry, wider track, stronger hubs, dccd-a to name a few, but don't dismiss the earlier cars they are still a good car.

I've an 03 blob STI Type UK.
Interior, it would have the same centre console, as the upgrade came in the 05.
As well as wider STI seats, this was for the more ample drivers in the US, or so im told...

I have a myo5 sti type Uk with the prodrive exhaust and performance pack. My question is before I bought the car 4 months ago I did some research on what scoob to buy. I ended up with a 27k miled myo5 sti type Uk ppp on a 55 plate with supposed 320bhp, with the ppp but 301bhp standard. All in all the car feels like it has 220bhp once it has been drove for 15 mins till it's warm with no fault codes showing on my fault code reader. But if I put some foot down before it's warm the car feels more like 280-300bhp at best..is there anyone that can advise me on what's going on with my, myo5 sti type Uk

Redman, not telling you how to drive, but i don't, and most people wouldnt put there foot down before the car has come up to temp.
The reason for this is that bottom end failure is a problem linked with not letting the oil warm up, and heavy driving then shutting the engine off straight away without any cool down time.

all this is my understanding, so if im wrong, forgive me and correct me...
