Default Ninja 2 close to bumper

Just had it fitted and it is really close, bumper has melted a bit with the previos exhaust, can you get the hangers bent down, or get a heat reflecter thing?

You could swap hangers on the left hand side ? the centre pipe hanger further down is almost always stretched

I just fitted a Blit Nur Spec R to MY07 RB320, which sat very close to the bumper also.
I fitted a CF shield, which seem to be doing the job!

With the hangers, what do you mean? They are welded to the back box?

Sorry if it's clear, been awake for hours and I'm so tired and on an iPod touch

Iggy, where did you get that from?

Rubber hangers/mounts you can also get universal ones from ebay etc or even Halfords that are longer By using longer ones at the 3rd hanger on the exhaust it may drop a little and sit better, equally the same can be said for the front rubber mounts

Very quick delivery & good quality item!
Only a slight mod required to the bumper for a excellent fit

Took me about an hour to fit
Initially helped with a second pair of hands, as the Carbon Fibre shield didn't fit exactly!
So with it being held securely in place, I managed to establish that the OE bumber had to by modified just a little:

From the top of the exhaust, just to the right on the off-side there is a small bit of green tape.
Here's a closer image;

I had to cut a small triangle out of the OE bumper, which allowed the CF shield to sit better. Below is the setion I had to cut out;

I maybe should have cut the same section from the near side of the OE bumper, to make an absolutely perfect fit! But i'm happy with just the bit that I cut out of the off side of the exhaust arch!
With the section of OE bumper cut out, I could hold it in place and mark out the holes to be drilled in the bumper!

The finished article, where I used allenkey flat-head bolts;

Any questions, give me a shout

I've had the hangers heated up and bent upwards, the gap hopefully should be big enough as most of the paint has melted anyway!
