If it has the prodrive pack then that pipe with the silencer at the front has no cat, the heat shields might still be on but it will just be straight through, a cheap method of upping the noise a bit and as a side effect getting the whole exhaust in stainless is to replace the centre section with a straight through pipe, if you want more than that then a replacemant backbox will be required. both of which should be ok with the std prodrive map,

Got exactly the same mate but 06 plate, I went for Haywood and Scott 4.5 inch jap style exit ;-) sounds awesome £369 fully fitted included back box and straight through de-resonated centre section. If you have a prodrive back box you could just get de-res centre that will release the scooby burble a bit more (97 quid for the centre)

Best regards

hi mate, i recommend an afterburner vortex, it is loud but not stupidly loud, get the angled exit, and it has a 4.5 inch tail pipe, doesn't look chavvy or anything, doesn't cost too much either. the afterburner vortex is also made by Haywood and Scott.

After coming frm a MY05 STi Type UK, with de-res & WR sport back box, I really missed the burble on MY07 RB320.
I recently went for a Bitz Nur Spec R, which I can definitely recommend!
Not for the faint harted mind......!!

I have a 06 wrx and I have a cobra system from the turbo back and it sounds awesome. Would deff recommend them to anyone. Also have the headers but not got them on yet.

Good luck with finding an exhaust!

i've got a japspeed full decat on my classic. sounds amazing and isnt too loud.
nice rumble at idle and gets louder as you get going, like a nur spec but a few decibles quieter.
