Default changing oil feed bolts for turbo

hi guys ive just swapped the turbo oil feed bolts from both engine side an turbo side as i have swapped from the td series to vf34 and im a bit paranoid.
the bolt on engine side, well theres a huge difference with how much oil feeds through. the td bolt had a huge hole an vf bolt has a tiny feed hole.
anybody with any knowledge help me as dont want to burn out turbo an just making sure this is right. the td hole loked about 1-2mm big an vf about 0.5 mm maybe less.
thanks for help an will give more info if asked

This is correct. Roller and ball bearing turbos don't need anything like as much lubrication as journal bearing ones.

If you'd left the TD-type oil supply on it, there'd be an increase in bearing drag in the turbo, but whether you'd actually notice a difference in spool is something I couldn't comment on. If you over-oiled a ball/roller bearing turbo over an extended period of time, one thing you'd eventually see is accelerated bearing wear.
