Let me get this right. Any newage sti intercooler (from bugeye to hawkeye) will fit a hawkeye? Also, are the undertrays the same.

i would think the intercoolers are the same, but i think the under-trays will differ as the scoops are different between the bug,blob and hawk eye.

 

bugeye undertay wont fit mate as it wouldnt fit my blobeye

 

I think the undertrays are different, because the sti intercooler is larger the undertray is also larger.

 

There is a slight difference on the hawk intercoolers but this does not affect the fitting, As far as i am aware the undertray will only fit the model it was removed from

 

no only get a uk 06-07 sti if your WRX is a uk model
as the fit will not be good from any other year

 

Just had an 04/05 STI intercooler fitted to my Hawkeye WRX - and there was apparently some slight mods required but nothing major. You need the diffuser/splitter from a Hawkeye STI - the scoop on the Hawkeye STI is the same as the WRX - approximately 75mm high previous STI's were approx 110mm high so do not fit - also the area of the splitter to the intercooler is much larger.
