Default cambelt pully alignment help..

hiya i bought a subaru impreza 1999 turbo uk accident damaged drivers side, after buying found out cambelt was off after closer inspection the crash must have smashed the bottom left pully as its plastic, causing belt to come off. its a long shot but does anyone know which marking are meant to go where ive took pics some pully's have got a couple of markings on and i dont know which is which. i'l try upload the pics in a bit...

Timing marks are highlighted in yellow - sorry about the fuzzy phone pic.




There is a good chance the valves will be bent too after the pulley was smashed and the timing jumped.

i have had 2 cars with smashed pulleys but no damage to the valves very luck on both occasions

hi, looking at the front left side top pulley should be 12 oclock bottom one 9 oclock
right side top one 12 oclock bottom one 3 oclock. (all as long as the crank cog is top dead centre)

you aint got a pic of the right hand, centre and crank aswell have you?

Same thing on the other side Slimkin, single notch at the top and double notches facing each other.

As for crank, stick the woodruff key at the bottom and you should see a dot on the pulley line up with an indent in the crank sensor housing just slightly off set to the right.
