Hi, recently bought my self an oil cooler from a Snet member, and am looking at fitting it in the near future. I have a few questions regarding the fitting etc.
1. If i spray the cooler black how badly will it affect the performance of it?
2. Do i go for a thermostatic sandwich plate or not?
3. How do i work out how much extra oil to add on a service?
Thanks
Mike

1. It will slightly affect it, but if you'd really notice the difference, not sure? Quite a few people spray their intercoolers to no ill effect.
2. Yeah, you want a thermostat on it
3. Easiest way would be to fill the pipes and cooler up with oil, then measure what you've poured in.

Cooler is foresight for trackday oil temps, road use is meh !
It's a nice little OEM Spec C unit, will fit tidy behind a classic grille and will be all the better for a spritz of VHT.
