Does the FMIC have a spiggot for the BOV connection?
OK. You want to replumb this as a recirculating BOV?
Give me your email address and I will send you a photograph if you are stuck but the piston which operates the BOV should face the pressure side ie. face in to the spiggot on the hard pipe if you have one. So the piston moves up the BOV body and that allows air to release down the recirculation passage back to the air inlet tract.
