Should be around 350bhp and 370 lb/ft if it is a decent 18G.

Did SC map it ?

As those figures don't tally with a transformation IMHO.

Do you mean VF43 off the MY06 STi ? not sure the VF34 is rated at this level of output.

Does the WRX have injectors for a TD05 18g at a claimed 380bhp 390ftlbs

VF34 mine is running 340bhp and 400 ftlbs at 2800 which i think is sooner than a td05

mines a 2006 wrx hawk... the box is much stronger than the 2ltr, i'm running 380 bhp 390 tourque . the engine and box is good for 400bhp
Sorry I had to laugh
RS74, your box is no stronger or weaker than the one out of the blob 2ltr, well acutally its the same/very similar, so whoever told you that they are much stronger was probably referring to the 6 speed box.
Also, something to think about, the STI engine (2.5 as the 2ltr is stronger ) will struggle at 380-400bhp, it may even go pop, its stronger than the wrx lump, and all the 2.5's suffer similar issues.

The gear box (5 speed WRX) is different stronger/the clutch is also
i've been running mine for 3 years and 33,000 miles now car is on 48,000 miles
340/400 with no issues
and i'm not soft on the car

Its a TY754V gearbox, think what you will, you dont normally get much notice when they go, and with 400lbs of torque, they just normally shred a gear or 2
Its no stronger than the 2ltr new age gearbox, which was slightly strenghtened over the classic gearbox (none sti version).
The clutch may be larger, that I dont know, but take note that subaru did not want or expect this engine to be running 350bhp/400lbs of torque, neither the clutch to do doing the same, hence why you see a few gearboxes out of these in bits
