Knock from n/s rear?
I have just fitted lowering springs (eibach) to my 1995 wrx and now im getting a knock from the near side rear when i lift off the throttle.
It wasn't there before and i have removed the strut and checked everything is ok and tight but its still there.
Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
Thanks.

I've got a similar noiseon mine happens randomly had it when I had the standard suspension on the car and have still got it with my coilovers :/ very puzzling I cured mine by turning up the stereo not an ideal fix I know but drowns out the random knocking from time to time.
Its in the garage now mate when I get some news I'll let you know what it was on mine.

I'm good thanks. Maybe catch up again one day. Hope you get it sorted. I guess you've checked everything from the bushes to ARB, etc. Something is obviously knocking when the car rebounds when you lift off. Hope you get some other ideas.....

Yes it is very puzzling as it's only started since lowering it.
That would be great if you could let me no what yours is once it's fixed, it could be the same thing.

Yes I have been under there and checked all the bushes, drop links and arb,
The only thing I have found is the rear diff has a fair bit of play but I can't see why that would start to knock just because it's lower.
I'm sure I will find it in the end but just annoying in the mean time.

Thank you for all your help people ,
I found it today,
Where i had jacked it up on the rear beam mounting plate it had bent one side of it and was nearly touching the beam so i suppose on lift off it moved enough to touch it and make the knock,
Just removed it and banged it back flat and the knock is gone
