For about two weeks I have a real loud tapping noise when i first start my 1998 sti , only thing is it get really bad when the clutch is pressed IN???? After two mins the noise completely goes??? I'm not driving the car at the moment because I'm two scarred to!! Has any one ever had a similar problem? Ps the car had A new clutch fitted last year

 

tapping ? rumbling maybe release bearing but wouldnt have thought so with tapping.
