Went to the local car store, bought 2 metres of tubing & 1 "T" piece & now have a pretty darn good waterspray system!! for about £3.

Will take some pics on monday & post them up, it even looks pretty cool!

Firstly mounted a nozzle on the top edge of the IC, but tried it & it was sh1te to say the least!

I ran a length of (think its 1/8" will have to check) tubing tightly around the inside of the IC, held in place all the way round by small cable ties, connected the 2 ends & the feed with the "T" piece to form a loop so that both sides of the tube will be fed at the same time & then carefully made holes all around the inside of the tube.
So when you press the button it squirts all along the top of the IC from every direction, but with only small streams.

Sounds crude but looks pretty good & it actually works pretty well.
I only really want mine for at low speeds ie. when been sitting in traffic, so the "irrigation" effect is perfect IMHO.

You just have to make sure that the tube sits right at the bottom of the IC so that the rubber cowl on the bonnet does not cover the holes.

I will post some pics up tomorrow, just need to find some hosting space.
If I can get hold of a decent temp measuring device I will do some tests to see what it does!

Sounds like a good idea.............

Does it create a light mist?

I might have to attempt this, remembering to empty all the windscreen washing agent from the bottle........
