anyone else got a MY01 that suffers from a buzzing/tinkly rattle noise from engine off-side at low revs in high gear between 1000-2000rpm (30 mph/4th and 40 mph/5th gear) ? I know they are a bit lumpy at low revs, but is this f*cking noise normal?
the sort of noise a loose heat shield might make, but this checks out OK. Dealer dismissed it as OK (did not say normal I notice) and suggested it might be the variable valve timing (eh, did'nt know they had that...) should I live with it or go back ?

 

Had a friend with this, something to do with a shield around the exhaust heating up and became a little loose, quick tighten by dealer and it was OK.
