why does a vf38 thats fitted to the single turbo legacys have 2 restrictors in the boost pipework?

vf38 is a twinscroll turbo from jdm 04 sti

I think your mistaken the JDM Blob STi has a VF37 (divided thrust bearing) and the Spec C has a VF36 (roller bearing).

I don't think the VF38 was fitted to any Impreza models.
