subura impreza wrx 1998 clutch problems help needed
hi i have a 1998 subura impreza wrx and iv been having clutch pedle problems where it would stick and id have to use my foot to lift it back up and the car would judder when pulling of but yesterday after a week of having theys problems my pedle dropped to the floor and didnt return the bar came of the cylinder thing under the inter cooler i have refited the bar but there is no clutch there is a pedle but its hard to push in and wont selct eny gears does this mean i need a new preasure plate or the fork that selects the gears eny help on this would be apreciated and if i do need preasure plate which one should i buy and how long does it take to remove gearbox and re fit thanks antony

Yesterday after a week of having these problems my pedal dropped to the floor and didn't return. The bar came off the cylinder thing under the inter cooler. I have refitted the bar but there is no clutch: there is a pedal but it's hard to push in and I can't select any gears.

try bleeding the system mate. Refill it and open the bleed valves, or valve depending on your set up, one is by where the pin goes in and other over on the right wing. get somebody to push on pedal to feed it all through. Failing that try master cylinder located where you fill up clutch fluid. Although you can't select gears, sound more serious.
