Have you got the nur spec R or the nur spec S, as the S is quieter than the R,and as mentioned above do you have a decat .Sorry but i have a full decat and straight through centre section mating to an afterburner vortex and on tickover it is louder than my mates nur spec r,but as soon as the revs rise the blitz is WAY louder. The vortex is loud ,but managable..The blitz is just hardcore, and after driving my mates car for 3 days ,i found myself fitting the bung to stop my head pounding.

has anyone done any performance tests with the various exhaust systems,i have just replaced my full 3" vortex system with a full 3" nur spec r and the difference in performance is very noticeable. The nur spec r is louder and sounds better imo,but does not perform nothing like the vortex i had on.The car spooled up and pulled much quicker with the vortex on without a doubt,im even considering going back to it the difference was that great.

If you've noticed a performance difference its coz even changing exhaust or airfilter warrents a remap. Its an expense thing to do and really you'd wanna do a few mods b4 spunkin out to do a remap, but to get full potential out of your new exhaust, you need a remap.
I had a Nur Spec R and hated it... its on loud 100% of the time and deadly on long motorway drives... you need to take paracetamol after those kinda journeys, lol

It's far too loud for my liking. stick with what you got
