Default morette bulb help.

I have genuine morette headlights fitted to my my99 classic and need some replacement bulbs for the inner lights,i have wired the inner lights to work the same as the outer lights so all four come on when im driving and all four go into high beam mode when i flash the lights or put the car into high beam mode.i have some phillips diamondvision outer bulbs in and they are a really nice blue/white colour,i want to put some the same in the inners but not sure of the fitment or type of bulb needed, does anyone know what bulbs fot the inner morette lights.

What wires did you join to get it to work?

Hang on. The INNERS are MAIN BEAM. The OUTERS are DIP BEAM/MAIN BEAM off the same bulb.

When you say you have the inners to work the same as the outers, what, exactly, do you mean?

Inners use an H2 bulb. You will do well do find any uprated bulbs. You MAY find higher wattage bulbs, but I STRONGLY advise you NOT to use them. The H2 bulb relies on a sprung connector for earth and feed. Higher wattage bulbs overheat these connectors and the spring then loses it's tempering and stops making a good contact. Result: flickering and eventual premature failure of bulb
