What size is the flange on a standard cat'd downpipe. I have found a nice decat and it has a 3" flange, is that the same as standard, i.e. will the rest of my zorst fit on on it!?

K, ive got a 3" decat downpipe and been told it will still fit. Hope so!

Yeah, I think most 3" downpipes have extended 'long' bolt holes so that it can still fit OEM sized 2.5" centres' bolt hole positions. In this case you need the 3" gasket, whether it's the wirewool cone type i.e. if the centre has the OEM 'bowl' flange... Or, if a 'normal' flange, then you'll need the 'diamond' shaped flat style gasket.

Has gone straight on system was 3" poorly fitted to existing 2.5". Now fits a treat!

Yeah, decat d/p's really magnify the sound that's already there. Esp. when it's a 3-incher!
