Default cosworth 1.2 mm gasket

i need the 1.6mm gasket on my 96 sti,but cosworth only do a 1.2 for my car would these be ok, what would the little bit more compresion do to the engine,
or are the comtec the ones to go for

can you not buy a piston crown with an altered dish size to get the correct compression ratio?

What sort of power/boost do you intend on running ?? The Subaru 1.6mm MLS Head Gaskets (11044AA463) are good - fitted as standard to the STi Version 3~4.

1m running 315 bhp about the same torque,
should be ok with them and a bit cheaper

DO ensure you get the right thickness gasket, so as to keep the compression ratio the same/standard. I learned that the hard way
