time to do the heads again
i had my engine forged two years ago or 20000 miles ago been running 1.6 bar. apr bolts a steal gaskets is there any better gaskets and woudl it be better to do a bigger mm apr head bolts to make this last longer as i cant be ask to do this every two years lol

Running that boost with ARP studs and Subaru MLS head gaskets shouldnt be a problem tbh.
Be worth checking the ARP studs for stretch or if they are loose when you remove the head nuts and washers.
Check the heads and block faces for distorsion/warp when its apart.

well its looking like its not my heads going as my engine builder and tuner has had a good look at it and has advised me the thermostat i have put in is just not working good it was and after market one the fans were coming on but not colling it down past 94.5c and we think the thermo sat is not open but soon as i drive it drops to about 89-90 c so im going to try this zero sports one and see if i can sort the problem out, ps my car has not ever over heated some times these tuned subaru ca n be a reall pain in the behind

thank god for that my heads are fine now change the cheap thermostat for a zero sports one and my engine temps are running 10 c lower when im moving and now it opens all my fans are working right now over heating not that i had any and every things ont he water sidce seems fine fingers corssed my engine temp use to be when driving around the 89 mark but now they are 80 fans quick when it hits 90 ish and only saty on for a minuits as it pulls back the tems all ticky boo now i can spend my money on some more tunning
