Default Low Pitch Whine...

... Wheel bearings, Diff or Gearbox or the way out?

Seem to be getting a low pitch whine when driving, sometimes goes away after driving for more than 10 mins and sometimes doesnt go away at all. It does quiet down when I turn the steering wheel.

Any ideas?

Any way of checking which is the problem by just checking the parts over?

Cheers

Get it up on ramps with wheels off the ground, ie: supported by the body, and have someone check it over. Most garages can tell you then where the noise is from.

My money would be on rear wheel bearings.
