odd high revs

Default odd high revs

hi i got a 55 plate wrx with de cat and mapped have had no problems with it, woke up today started it and the revs usually be just above 1200 rpm, then drop to normal. but now when i start car it goes to 2500 rpm scaring all the neighbours it does eventally drop down to normal after 5 minute of driving any help thanks

Split pipe somewhere?
Try an ecu reset might bring something up

ok tryed the ecu rest and checked all pipesno goodstill doing it

have you been cleaning under the bonnet and moved the accelerator pedal cable?

no i havent touched the cable or anything under the bonnet

could it be the idel control valve gasket or needs cleaning would high revs cause this
