Default 2nd opinion plz???

hi all
im thinkin of gettin this sump plug for my car as mine is rounded off,mine is a 94 import wrx.
just want a 2nd opinion on whether it will fit?

IMO, a magnetic sump plug is only worth fitting to an engine sump for the break in period of a new motor, to catch any tiny pieces of swarf that may (but should not) be present in a freshly built engine. If you start to trap magnetic swarf on a sump plug, part way through an engine's lifetime, then it's in serious trouble anyway. - Regular oil, and more importantly, oil filter changes will remove any (not just magnetic) foreign objects that are larger than the micron rated filtration level of the oil filter that's been fitted.

Magnets on gearbox and rear diff drain plugs are a different story, it's not uncommon to see a paste like swarf build up on them. - Subaru fit them as standard anyway

I had 2 spanners and a 13mm socket stuck to mine on the last oil change, wondered where they had gone

Talking of which, I bloody dropped a 3/8" to 1/4" socket adaptor on top of my block the other day. Tw@t.
