Who does Hybrid TD04's?
Hi all
Who supplies hybrid TD04 turbochargers? Tried to get in touch with both Andy Forrester and Harvey from here and had no reply from either.
Happy to go direct to someone like Turbo Technics or CR Turbos if there is a known spec.
Cheers

Andy F and Harvey are both spot on. Both are always busy as a result.
Andy generally gets back to E-Mail's pretty quickly. I had a guy contact him yesterday for a mapping date and he got a date in October today.
I have been in a classic with an Andy F TD04 hybrid and the spool is amazing!!

I sent Andy an email 8 days ago and no reply so far. If I get stuck finding one i'll give him a call, but for non-urgent enquiries such as this I prefer to email first as to not break someone away from his work.

the main benefits are hybrids have quicker spool times (less lag) than you'd get off a bigger turbo and you still get all the power of a bigger turbo. Depending on application they're sometimes more suited to an engine over just fitting a bigger turbo.

I have a hybrid TD04, an amazing turbo, i was running 1.2 and made 300.1 bhp with 310 torque, but this was mapped on a very hot day and a lot of heat soak, so now its colder its running higher boost, I am going on the rollers on the 8th so will let you know the out come.
I would highly recommend this turbo to anyone, I have the andy f one on mine.
