While fitting some gauges the other day, I noticed the below.

The picture is of the ride hand side of the engine bay (as you look at it). The pipe seems to attached to a small box at one end, but er, nothing at the other end!

With the TMIC in place, it pretty much covers over all of this - if that helps with identification.

Anyone know what it's for, and where the other end of this pipe should be connected?!

Is that driver side? if so there is a 3 port valve down just under the level of the manifold.

has the throttle body coolant circuit been bypassed?

Unsure. What would the benefit of doing this be?

Has it been taken off the OE dumpvalve, to fit an aftermarket one?

Nope. The aftermarket DV fitted uses the same vac hose as the standard one...
