Will invariably be running rich in closed loop - as a failed O2 sensor can't perform it's continuous "rich-lean-rich-lean, etc, etc..." i.e. feedback loop.

Lambda gets ignored - goes into open loop - when you go over certain revs (2,700rpm or something) + certain load, anyway.

Will be okay until you get it replaced, yes. But get it repalced asap anyway... as it'll save on fuel, if nothing else.

It theoretically shouldn't matter if you go on boost, as the lambda, working or not working, get's ignored anyway i.e. has no influence on fueling when on boost, as the lambda's stoichiometric 14.7:1 AFR target is far too lean for on boost shenanigans.

But yes, as always, if things aren't 100%, always best to err on the side of caution, regardless...

Depends which of the two lambda's has failed, if its the front one then answer no, bite the bullet and change it, if the rear one then that will not have any detrimental effect, but a remap should have disabled the codes for that so I guess you mean the front one ?

best regards
