no oil light on start up

Default no oil light on start up

hi all,i have just had the cambelt done on my 96 wrx and since this the engine oil light doesnt come on on the dash anymore???
i am sure it was on before i had the cambelt done?
is there something that the mechanic has possibly knocked something? and how would i check?

he could have knocked the oil pressure switch wire off mate,its just next door the crank sensor under the alternator

is it the one just behind the crank sensor with a green and white wire coming off?
because this wire appears to be broken?
if so this has to be the quickest id of a problem in sn history
