i have a decat downpipe fitted but just had mot so had to but standard back on. It passed the mot and have now put the decat back on but i keep getting the check engine warning light coming on, i can clear it with a code reader but within a day or so it comes back on? any ideas or solutions?

 

To get some help around here, list your cars model and year at least.
And if you have a code reader to clear the fault, how about telling us what the fault code is?

I answered you on other thread, you have a car that can be mapped and you should get it mapped after fitting a decat pipe anyway, so look on hear and find who is close to you and get the cel switched off or mapped out.

 

Does anyone know where I can get my 2001 Subaru impreza WRX remapped to accept the decat downpipe and stop the check engine light coming on? I live in Tamworth, staffs

API use Pat Herborn - one of the most respected mappers. I think they map on Wednesdays...
