Sound like an immobiliser fault, had this on my uk.
Check if you are getting fuel (Do you hear the pump priming when you turn the key?, Are you getting smoke from exhaust when trying to start).
Common fault with the Sigma alarm not sure which alarm/immobiliser you have though, They use fuel pump cut/starter motor cut.
Mine was a fault in the fuel pump/immobiliser wiring.
Fob all worked fine at the time aswell.
If the fuel pump is not priming i would check fuses, pump etc before the above.

I have also heard of wires coming loose on the fuel pump due to the location (Under rear seat drivers side).

Hope you get it sorted out.

Got another ignition module and crank sensor still the same and no spark immobiliser seems to be working As it deactivates and brings power to the dash when I turn key and press the fob fuel pump is ok as it's priming

Hmm ok,

Thats a strange one and you checked the most probable causes, So you are getting power to the coil pack and none to the actual cylinders, have you tried checking for fault codes? See Below

If you look under the dash on the drivers side you should find a pair of BLACK (1 pin) connectors and a pair of GREEN (2 pin) connectors situated very close together.

The black (1 pin) connectors are for reading the ECU Fault codes, the green (2 pin) connectors are for a system self test function that runs the rad fans, fuel pump and the wastegate solenoid valve.

For reading the ECU Fault Codes we are only interested in the BLACK (1 pin) connectors, with the ignition 'OFF' connect the BLACK (1 pin) connectors together and turn the ignition to the 'ON' position (Dash lights on engine off), now look at the 'Check Engine Light' it should now be flashing.

How to read the flashing Check Engine Light

A steady even spaced flash = no stored faults.

A slow flash = x10

A fast flash =x1

So for example if you see 2 slow flashes and 6 fast flashes your fault code is '26', the function can show you multiple codes too so it is handy to have a notepad and pen handy to write the codes down as you read them, if there are multiple codes they will be shown in a looped sequence with a pause between codes ie (2 slow - 6 fast - PAUSE - 3 slow 4 fast - PAUSE) once the last code in the sequence has been flashed the sequence repeats so dont panic if you did not catch the code the first time round. It is worth watching the sequence for a few loops to ensure you have taken down the correct codes.

Once you have finnished reading the Fault Codes, simply turn off the ignition and disconnect the BLACK (1 pin) connectors.

What the ECU Fault Codes mean.

Scoobypedia Link.....List of Subaru Fault Codes (Scoobypedia)

Once you are happy with the codes you have read, compare them to the list below to see what the code/s mean.

check fuses, wiring connections, ecu wiring, if pumps priming then not immob, check earth straps to engine, battery etc. Check round the areas that u were working on, jacks on, axle stands on, when working on the cv joints, u may have moved a wire, wiring loom, blew a fuse, just an idea, seen it happen before to me.

if you know the coil packs are 100%, could be an earthing prob

Hi guys am now getting 2 sparks from the 2 lower coilpack ends nearest to the radiator but not the top 2. What electrically could cause the timing to be out just for info checked the crank sensor that's working fine cam sensor is working fine Changed the coilpack changed the ignition module but still at a dead end again also checked wiring continuity and all seems fine

update: found that i had 2 12v feeds on the coilpack plug when i shouldnt. so inspected the white plug behind battery and it was really corroded, bought a new wiring loom and thats sorted the voltage issuse but now i think the ecu has been damaged by the 12v line engine still wont start. checked the voltage on the ignition module and 1 pin is going high in voltage when i crank the engine and pin 2 is very low about 0.3 so the ecu isnt sending the correct signal could this mean the ecu has got damaged??
