Default Different Offsets on front and rear hubs?

I got some new 17" alloys, which I have to use a generic 5mm spacer on the front (which I didn't realise when I bought them), and they give me wheel wobble at certain speeds.

To solve this I got hold of some H&R hubcentic spacers which are 15mm each side and came with longer studs So I also ordered another set for the rears, and things will then be OK. But, the 2nd set isn't going to be here in time for a track day I'm doing!

How much would it **** the handling up if I put the 15mm on the front, and the 5mm on the back?

Obviously in the long run they are going to be 15mm front and rear, but for the track day would it be stupid to go 15mm front, 5mm rear? Or leave it 5mm front, and 0mm rear, but have the wobble?

Cheers

No, I didn't think the wobble was too healthy!

A lad at work said (not sure how true it is) said because it's AWD that the offsets on both wheels HAVE to be the same. But like I said, not sure the truth behind this?

well im running wider offset on rears, https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...roduction.html
Whats know as a staggard setup - if you read up on this its actually meant to be increased road handle.

I asked my mate at work about doing that, as I was thinking of getting a 20 or 25mm set for the rears, and having 15mm on the front. But that's when he said about the needed to be the same due to it being AWD. Obviously he was wrong though, lol.

Do you think it will handle and look crap for a week or two running 15 front and 5 rear?

tbh i dont think you will notice much in the handling side of things, as for the looks, id rather deal with it for a week or so rather than a wobbly wheel, you will probably find only you notices it.
