turbo 2000 to sti
hi does anyone know what i will need to put an sti v5 engine into my98 turbo 2000 as i have the complete engine with inlet and engine loom but will i need to change the complete loom in the car

Ummm, that's going to be a bit of a PITA, but do-able with patience. You will need to change the bulk of the chassis/cabin loom, instrument cluster and ECU, for starters, possibly other bits depending on how you do the loom, and how complete your definition of "complete engine" is.
Are you doing this because you want an upgrade, or because of a need to change a blown engine? If the former, it can be done if you put the work in. If the latter, and you're hoping this is going to be a quick easy swap, there's going to be more to it than that.

not bothed in the amount of work as car is going to be striped down for respray and yes it is for more power as i've already got the engine just needed to know if the full loom needed changing while it was striped down

will need the whole loom i would imagine as you would need a V5 STi ECU and iirc they arent interchangeable as they are different pin layouts? Someone should be able to confirm that though.
