Default Block/Header Gaskets

Hi Chaps, currently having my headers fitted and have been told by my mechanic i have two leaking gaskets... bolt hole gaskets or something along those lines but all to do with the headers.

What's the best place for gaskets? need them quite urgently as my cars all booked up for mapping on the 13th.

Obviously i know the above description on which gaskets i need is vague but when i go pick it up i will find out exactly which ones i need.

but a general consensus on best place to get gaskets would be most appreciated

IMHO buy cheap = buy twice.

Recommend getting genuine Subaru ones, but not from Subaru.
A pair of Genuine ones off Ebay are about £20 delivered:

If you are refering to the passenger side as the left bank (which would be correct), then the gasket you need has a Subaru part no: of 44022AA160..... If it is the drivers side then it would be 44011FA020

The up pipe, lower gasket is 44022AA170

The above part numbers are assuming that you are not running a Twin Scroll set up.

As has been preveiously stated, you would be well advised to purchase the Subaru metal gaskets for this part of your car, the pair would cost you £23.05 from a dealer, but as been suggested, you could probably find a cheaper source for the OE parts.

Thanks for those part number mate, much appreciated.

Harvey directed me to RCMS, i gave them a ring and with the part numbers managed to order them all up for tomorrow morning!

OEM Subaru gaskets but decided i should order both of the front as there is no point just doing one and leaving the other... up pipe gasket is all ordered as well

Thanks for the help guys
