i have small area of oil residue from a possible leak at front of engine,its just below the alternator around the cam sensor conector,anyhow would it be ok to spray a degreaser on it and jetwash it off or hose it ?dont want to do any damage and need to know how long it takes to return if it does that is.

its the crank sensorbelow the alternator mate and yes it would be fine to jet wash of,id do that and check after the next use of the car to see if you can place were it is coming from.

nice one buddy-dont think its a bad one as not losing any oils so will see what happens.
