Drive around with that open in the sort of weather we're having at the moment, and there'll soon be a variety of dead insects impaled on his head. And shoulder. And on the seats, and the centre console and the....

Funny, so the spec c roof vent is just for the winter months lol, i do get a few insects on the inside of the vent cover but thats about it, must say the breeze you get through it is very nice. Cheers for your comments.

Seriously, that's a pukka rally vent and really looks the part (unlike those huge fibreglass 'dummy' ones!). I bet the breeze is wicked in this weather?

Nice one.

Awesome motor, please give your cars paintwork the love and attention it deserves on such a nice motor! a polish to remove all the swirls and some wax to finish it off nicely! would then look amazing!

At the end of the day its a car thats all, i have a good friend who has spent over 20 grand on a MK2 golf, ok its a very nice car i kid you not but he is to scared to use the dam thing, its like having a big plasma tv and and watching a portable cos your to scared to turn it on, its not an ornament **** THAT , these things are ment to be used, Swirl marks, whos bothered it wont go any faster without them and sure as dam it, it wont be worth any less or more for that matter when i part chop it for something else.

another factor is children,if you have young kids then all free time is with them so you havent the time to be ****,you can wash, vac,do inside and wax it,take all day on it but it stays like that for a couple of days. if it rains then its back to how it was in first place within hours !

Exactly my point, just use the dam things, thats what their ment for, it does get looked after, it wants for nothing with no expense spaired on it, when the time comes it will be a great buy for someone i can tell you, she is mint and like i say very well looked after.
