Default wastegate flap seal?

hey all, does anyone know how well the wastegate flap/penny should seal/seat on the turbo housing?? does it need to seat 100% perfect or would you expect to be able to see a hairline amount of light with a torch shone on it?

I would expect that a small gap could be considered normal.

Ideally it would be a perfect fit, but should work o.k. IMHO

I fitted a new one recently and ground it in like you would a valve. Fussy bugger though
