ok im looking to change my standard green maf and just wonderin what my options are ... i no there is a orange maf and also a z34 maf could some1 please tell me the diffrence between these three cos as far as i can see the z34 has a orange label 2

i have a version 1/2 95 wrx can i say put on a maf from a later year like a 98 as a straight replacement

IIRC it's green for green and orange for orange, they are not interchangable.

 

as b13bat has said don't mix the mafs they are designed to go on a specific car only.

 

ok that rules that out ! lol .. so there is no upgrade availible for a green maf ?

 

If you want to upgrade you'll really want to be looking at a Simtek ecu or similar and to be going MAFless to really "upgrade".

 

so for instance if i bought a apexi p fc i would lose the maf is this somthing simon at jgm would do prior to mappin the car .. as were on the subject of apexi power fc i no this is a little change in subject but what other advantages are there of gettin 1 ... help pleaseeeeeeeee

 

The Power Fc works with the MAF. You can upgrade to a Z32 MAF or Q45.
