window regulator help!!
hi there i have a l reg scooby wrx, and i am in the process of fitting a window regulor/motor complete to my passenger door.
i have
removed the 4 10mm bolts holding the motor,
the two 10 mm nuts holding regulator to glass
i have undone the black rail 3 12mm nuts
undone the wiring from motor
undone the other 2 10mm nuts which is another part of the regulator.
now i got it out and was very happy lol, but i cant get the new regulaor back in!!! my question is do you put the motor on the door first bolting the 4 10mm bolts, then the regulator to the glass or visa versa because im haveing a mare , the 4 bolts just wont line up!! when the glass is attached first and vice versa, id just like to know how you guys get them in and out lol
i have tried the motor while it is in the door and worringly the motor goes up but not down, i have a feed both when the up and down switch is pressed on the 2 different wires going to the motor so have i managed to get another faulty motor?? as fuses are ok
if yes maybe its a good thing i didnt get it in all the way lol!
thanks for any advice
