Default Turbo choices?

Still deciding what turbo I'm going to stick on the car. So looking for some reviews or maybe performance comparrisons if anyone has a similar build.

The engine is gona be a 2.1 stroker cdb, 740cc injectors, 255 Fuel pump, rcm headers & probably gt 2 fmic.
I'm after a power figure between sorta 390bhp - 420+ bhp

I had thoughts on either a TD05 20G Billet, SC46 Billet or an MD321H

Can anyone offer any advice as to what might be best one to go for with minimum lag maximum gains etc.

Thanks,

Ally

You'll have theoretically enough fuelling/airflow for 500+... so what about a S206?! Or a MD321V... or a SC54, etc, etc. Why hold back? LOL

EDIT: The 255 pump will prob hold you back to around 450bhp actually, so in that case a MD321T/T+ or SC46...

I don't wana peak too high too quick in my mind I'm thinking 400ish will be a nice figure to drive on for a daily driver an then the potential for more is always there with a few changes should I want it one day or maybe if I sell it on someone else could bump the power up.

Scoobdogg, the S206 spans 400-500!!!, so that would cover both of your min/max power scenarios and anything in between.

However you'd need its bespoke elbow/downpipe combo and would have to modify the turbo-IC hard pipe, as the comp cover is rotated + mirrored.

Think it's about 1100-1200 quid with the elbow/dp included.

I would say that a TD05 20G on your 2.1 would be a good choice and at £850 will represent real value for money.

Agree with harvey - his 20g will give good spool for c.400bhp. And the cheapest way into the 400 mark, to boot.

IMO - if your building that sort of spec engine you need to give it a really good turbo. Otherwise u may as well build a lower spec engine.

MD321M or MD321T
