hi all, i have a 2002 bugeye wrx, i am soon getting it remapped but have been told that if i decat the down pipe ( this is needed as a mod for my car to be remapped to how i want) it may fail the emissions, i have a vortex backbox, middle section and straight through pipe where in place of the o2 sensor piece....
is anyone else running this setup or something similar and do you fail emissions?

either go for a sports cat or refit your cat for the MOT, otherwise it will fail

not true. mine is a 2002 wrx remapped by duncan and has no cats and passed lovly..... twice.... if i was you tho i would put ur exhaust back to standard if u have the cats get it through an mot then put ur exhaust back on and get it mapped then worry about it next year
