Exclamation IGNITION ON NO ENGINE LIGHT

Now i was under the impression that the engine light along with airbag etc come on when the ignition is on, Like a test thing or whatever

I have only had the car about 8 weeks and just notice really with all the threards regarding engine lights

Can someone please confirm it should be on please ?

Engine light should come on with ign and go out after a few seconds. does the car run ok. I would check the bulb first. This is one light that you should have working imo...

yes the car runs fine fella i will have a look and see what is going on, NOW I know it should be on

Has it always been off,some dodgy sellers remove the bulb to hide faults ,id put a scanner on it to see if there is any faults recorded.
Hopefully not and its just a loose or dodgy bulb but play it safe till you know.

some little ******* has taken it out and de soldered it with the looks of it, need to solder another red led inplace and go from there now
